The annual Thanksgiving Food Box Giveaway is fast approaching. Please consider a donation. 100% of your donation will be used to prepare Thanksgiving Food including Turkeys for local households in need of a helping hand this holiday. Last year over 180 local families benefitted. Everyone deserves a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving Food Box Giveaway
Register Oct. 8th to Nov. 8th, 2025 - Registered and qualified households can pick up their Thanksgiving Food Box on Monday, Nov. 24th from noon to 2 p.m. at the Valley Oaks Community Center in Greenview. Must be registered to receive boxes. Final registration is November 4th - No exceptions.

All households must register at the following locations
including Salmon River households.
Oct. 8 – Nov. 8 - Fort Jones & Etna Public Libraries
Oct. 8 – Nov. 8 - Scott Valley Family Resource Center, Ft. Jones
If you are unable to register in person, please call 530-467-5548 and leave a message. A volunteer will call to accommodate your special needs. Final registration is November 8th - No exceptions.
